Have you thought about looking for a job in a patent firm? It's a long shot, but sometimes they'll help pay for school and it will give you a better sense for when it comes to post-bar employment. Benefits: some patent experience for your resume, prospects for being hired post-bar and contacts/ gossip in your local patent field.
