"The idea has to be kept a secret until PATENT application is filed" This statement is Totally contradicting to Doing a Reality Check with assistance of a lawyer; Obviously idea has to be disclosed in order for a Reality Check. : : Well Apart from the above question, I was wondering where can an individual go (I mean an address or phone number etc) to atleast get PATENT FORMS printed by US govt. and What are the fees/charges for filing for a patent of an idea ? : : Most of the answers to querys do not have this information. I will be glad to get answers to my questions. : : Thanks, : : Arun.
The disclosure of an idea to a licenced professional Patent Lawyer, is in confidence, just as your relationship with a doctor or clergyman is. A genuine disclose to others can be protected by a confidentiality agreeement. You have to find a Registered Patent Lawyer you can trust as to looking out for your rights as well as the fees that are charged. Patent are not hard to get. Getting a good patent that give the protection you need is the toughy. There is $100M+ a year scam getting people to file patent applications. Only 1 in 10K get back more than they pay. M.
