: I work for a large corporation in the USA, and I am starting a project to identify and protect the company's technology Intellectual Property, and also to raise awareness on the subject.

: Any advice, links, resources to recommend?

: Thank you.
Direction and instinct are the best sources. What does the company do? What are its objectives? Where has it been and where might it go? What are its products? What are its services? What is its organizational plan? Will changes bruise egos and or jeopardize jobs? Are there now incentive plans to encourage and reward creativity?
If you are in a big city the Public Library may be a good place to start. There are books on books and associations. Bowser and Gale come to mind immediately as books on books. The librarian ought to be able to help. The librarian at a local law school may give guidance and even aces to the library. The American Bar Association in Chicago has a great list of helpful publications.
The concerns (from my head not books) are:
1. What are the legal agreements with the creative people in the organization?
2. What are the legal agreements with personal having aces to the creative function?
3. What is the security system, both physical and legal with regard to trade secrets?
4. Who are the competitors and what do they do?
