: : I have an idea on how to utilize existing technologies to improve the moving business. I also have an idea for a water craft tool. How could I patent these items.
: Go to a bookstore and get "Patent It Yourself" from Nolo Press. By David Pressman
: It includes a CD with aditional help.
It is a snare and a delusion to try and do it yourself even with a good book. The law in the book may be correct but the technique of writing a patent application that is fileable is not easy and even if filed, the importance is not getting a patent but to get a patent which will stand up and with claim that lock in protection for the invention. Concepts in themselves are not patentable.
I am a registered patent lawyer. I'll straighten you out if you call without charging a fee for the call. I will charge for work if asked but will not charge until there is a clear understading of what will be done. The first thing I might charge for is for a Reality Check. My number is 2125946900
