Dear Ms. Fischer, Even if you could figure out what to do, and this is not legal arrogance, the odds on your getting a good patent is vert small. Worse if yo;u have a valuable invention, you are likely to disclose it so that all can use without infringing your patent. This is why I start my clients with Reality Check. If the invention has promise we can amit it to get a best shoe. If does not have promise, no matter how good it is, it can be a ver big waste of time noney and worry. There may be alternatives to patents, in order to make money. There are lots of legitimate ways of skinning a cat-- but you still need to know if you have the right cat.
