| Haruka Patent & Trademark Attorneys, the growing patent firm with offices in Kobe and Tokyo in Japan, is seeking qualified US patent attorneys with at least 3 year patent prosecution experience. This is a long-term position (at least 5 years). Most of our clients apply applications around the world including U.S. Thus, your duty and responsibility are providing a legal service regarding U.S. patent while communicating our clients in a close and timely manner. Specifically, the work involves reviewing the US applications, drafting US applications, prosecuting US applications, and advising the clients regarding US patent matters. The work also includes management of filing US applications and training of associates. Our firm is ideal for ambitious attorneys who challenge new and dynamic opportunities in Japan. These days, Japanese companies have rapidly increased the number of US applications and would continue to do so. We believe that this position will provide a great opportunity to establish strong relationships with these companies. Our Kobe office is located in Kansai area, which is one of the representative industrial areas in Japan. Historically, Kobe has been developed as an international trading port. Thus, Kobe is not only an important business city but also a famous tourist city. From Osaka, the second largest city in Japan, it takes 20 minutes by train.
