Job Description: |
IP Transactional Counsel. Requires 8+ years intellectual property experience, including significant experience in IP litigation and IP licensing. BSEE, CS, Physics or related degree is highly desired, together with one State Bar and PTO. Knowledge of software technology and software industry a plus. This position focuses on several areas: implementation of strategic IP decisions through multiple levels of company standard agreements; strategic IP projects; large transaction negotiations; IP litigation support; and general IP transaction responsibilities. The IP Transaction Attorney will work to creatively close transactions with Company partners. This attorney will be effective when independently responsible for transactions, and also when part of larger teams. In addition to transactions, this attorney will generally help Company manage its IP strategy and risk through counseling and support of many groups across the Company.
