Job Description: |
Leading global provider of engineered electronic components, network solutions, undersea telecommunication systems and specialty products seeks Senior Intellectual Property Attorney. Responsibilities related to this position will include counseling business unit managers with respect to IP matters and strategy; rendering opinions on patentability, freedom to operate (patent clearances), and intellectual property enforcement and infringement matters; managing litigation and outside counsel; managing the docket and workflow for US and foreign patent portfolio; conducting computer based intellectual property investigations and research; and negotiating and drafting intellectual property agreements. The ideal candidate for this position will be a graduate of an accredited law school, registered to practice before the USPTO, and admitted to at least one State Bar. BS in Physics or Electrical Engineering or significant experience in electronics or optics preferred. Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience required. Competitive compensation and benefits.
