I have recently been certified as a patent agent. I am currently helping several friends to file their inventions. I plan to use a prior art search firm to give me prior art reports. The choices online are dizzying. How should someone go about picking a reputable search firm? Is it really important to work with a firm close to the PTO? Thanks for any help I can get.
