Trademark on common word

Let's say there's a company with a trademark on the word "Wonderland" as it applies to a local community in a state...let's say California.

I'm putting up a community website for the same community.  The company is being very cooperative in allowing me to use the word "Wonderland" with permission, but I'm wondering if that means I can't continue to use the URL www.wonderland-california[dot]com if they decide to deny me permission later?

If they have a trademark on the word "Wonderland", does that trademark affect the URL "www.wonderland-california[dot]com"?
