Ex Similar to Fedex - Is This a Problem?

Hello,

The name of my company is EXRN, Inc.  I am in the process of designing a rough draft of a logo.

I would like to do a large capital "E" with a smaller "X" next to it to make an arrow like FedEx does.  The difference is that I would color in the arrow.  The "RN" would then sit on top of the "x" and the word incorporated with be along the bottom of the whole thing.

Since the E and X is close to the FedEx logo, would this cause an issue?

Thanks,
David

Yes if your mark and FedEx's are likely to be confused, no if they're not.
