Generally speaking, all of the spam seems to come from guest accounts. If the image thingy is used, I'd recommend iniitially making members exempt from using it.

It is a sad fact that spam is an invasive form, and should be prevented from getting into forums such as this one. I enjoy being an infrequent guest, and value the advice given. regards, steve

SPAM is on the increase again. There was a ton a couple months ago, then it dropped.
