| No, or at least not really. If you turned your ideas into source code, then you would (or at least could) have relevant copyright protection. But if video game programmers figured out how to accomplish the same thing, or something close enough, without using your source code, you might no longer have much of an advantage. In short, generally, copyright law protects qualifying works of art, patents protect qualifying innovations in product functionality.
