Title: Re: how to pay using credit card? Post by Jonathan on Sep 18th, 2006, 3:41am One option is to register yourself electronically with the USPTO and pay via their website. Your deadline to pay the fees is probably October 30th. So, the process to establish your identity electronically with the the USPTO could perhaps not finish until after that date, given the time remaining in the period of response. Unless you enjoy giving the government extra money in extension fees, this probably is not the best route for you at this time. So, just mail in a copy of your notice, some kind of cover sheet identifying the application, your identity, what you are sending payment for and a filled-in version of this form: http://www.uspto.gov/web/forms/2038-fill.pdf Including a self-addressed postcard, already stamped, listing what you mailed is probably a good idea as well. |
