Patent lit atty licensed in CA - worth having DC?

Hi everyone,

I have a quick question for those with experience being / being around patent attorneys.

I am licensed in CA, but can waive into DC if I want.  This will cost me about $700 + annual fees.  Is it worth it?  Does it boos the resume / make me more valuable?

I am focusing on litigation, not prosecution.  Because patents are always in federal court, does it even matter?  Can I try a case in DC even if I'm not licensed there?

Your thoughts!...

Thanks,
Anthony
