after interview help

I had an interview for a tech specialist job about a month ago.  I thought it went well with most of the interviewers.  It was a 3 hour meeting with 5 different people.  The day after I sent a thank you letter.  Two weeks later I sent a follow up email.  I got no response.  Two weeks after that I sent another follow up email.  Now it's been a week after the last email.  I still have no response- positive or negative.  What should I do?  If they don't want to hire you, do they just ignore you?

from my experience, they might ignore your initial cover letter/resume if you send it cold. However, it's not likely that a firm would interview you and then just blow you off. Sometimes you just have to be patient. They may be interviewing several people for the position. The partner/people in charge of making the decision on your employment may be out of town. There are many hypotheticals.

That said, if you want to follow up again (which I would if you don't hear anything in a week or 2 more) then I'd do so via telephone rather than email.

the fact that it's been over a month is not a good sign already.  I would recommend making a phone call instead of email to make it more personal.
