Demand for patent attorneys in EE

I have a B.Sc and and M.Sc in Computer Engineering and have about 5 years of work exp  in a variety of fields (satellite com, multimedia and networking). The type of work I do (FPGA design) is slowly getting outsourced and as a result I'm thinking of going to law school and becoming a patent attorney. I believe I'll like being in patent law since I like dealing with various types of technologies instead of just being focused on one particular field all the time and also because I like writing. However looking at all the job websites I don't see a big demand for patent attornys in EE. Is there an increasing demand for patent attorney's or am i better off staying in EE? I am thinking yes there is a demand for attorneys, what with all the lawsuits (NTP and RIMM, qualcomm and broadcom etc etc) but I want to get some opinions from those who have been in the field a while.

Thanks!!

Demand is good. Prove it to yourself by job seraching Attorney - Patent - Electrical. Change Electrical to Chemical and Mechanical and then Biology and see what happens to the hits.
