I pay less than $5,000 for more than $150,000.  I'm in Ohio and go through a group that concentrates on OH lawyers.  Note that it depends upon the complexion of your practice.  E.g., litigation v. prep and pros.  Also, it goes up every year until about Year Six.
Finally, if you decide to leave the practice or go with a firm that has their own coverage and want to maintain coverage for your own "prior acts", you'll pay a "tail" of about one year's premium.

Thanks Bill.

A friend mentioned that one of the "must" was an automated docketing system. Do you use one? Which one?

My carrier just wanted to know if I use one.  My current one is done by hand.
