Title: DC Area Law Schools - IP Law Post by The IP Kid on Jul 5th, 2007, 5:32pm I'm looking at going to law school to be a patent lawyer (EE background) in the DC area. I'm applying to the 3 Georges: Georgetown, George Washington, and George Mason. I've heard lots of people say that ranking/reputation is quite important for firms and clients when hiring. If I am fortunate enough to be accepted to each school, where would you go and why? Also, I would be doing the part time division at each school, with my job allowing some flexibility to take day courses for interesting IP courses that are offered in the day. Georgetown is the highest ranked / best reputation.... George Washington has best ranked IP program.... George Mason seems most innovative and modern in their approach, with expanding IP program... what to do? (Of course, I would visit each to get a feel for what school fits me best. Just looking for advice, opinions, info) |
