So on the application to the USPTO for registration to take the exam, it asks for a $200 registration fee. Does this mean I have to pay both the $200 to USPTO and $150 to prometric to take the test?

It's 240 total, 200 for test and 40 app fee.

i thought about mentioning that, but the OP asked specifically about the registration fee, not the application fee but it is good to clarify that distinction
