criminal prosecutor  OR  patent examiner?
 
both have their pros and cons, a criminal prosecutor has tons of trial experience, but a patent examiner has experience directly in the field.

Patent examiner, though actual IP law firm experience is better, general law isn't going to help much with a firm that does any prosecution.
