Hi. all,

I am currently preparing for pat bar and planing to take it next week. My question is that with my back ground(BL, foreign law degree), after done with patent bar, I am trying to achieve LL.M from one of law schools in DC and take NY and VA bar to become a patent attorney, since I will have only LL.M instead of JD, will it affect to get a job? Much Thanks... Smiley

If you are able to appear on the registry of Patent Agents and Attorneys as an Attorney you should be fine.

Recall, that to be registered as an attorney the requirement is be a member of a state bar. Pass the state bar exam and move on.............
