Looks better to me. Some recommendations to take or leave:
 
1) "I have read over a dozen books on different aspects of intellectual property law..."  
 
Change to: I have read several books pertaining to the different aspects of...
 
2) Eliminate "with the utmost precision" from para. 3
 
3) change "preciseness" to precision in para. 4 (try not to be repetitive)
 
4) Change "I strongly believe that I can.." to I firmly believe... OR I am confident that I can... (Again, avoid repetiton- you use "I strongly believe already in para. 3)
 
Also, you might want to spell out USPTO (don't know about this though).
