Upper 170s LSAT score. 2.8 undergrad GPA. 3.4 GPA last 2 years of undergrad. BSME. 3 years work experience as controls engineer in aerospace. Most of time spent writing ladder and programs to control mechanical systems. How good of a school can I get into? I think my low undergrad GPA means no yale or harvard. What about a Northwestern or georgetown or something? It's a bit of a hypothetical. I haven't taken the LSATS yet. Thank you for the help.

| "bit of a hypothetical" is an understatement, wouldn't you say. I just stopping laughing long enough to reply. Tell you what: get your "upper 170" lsat, come back, and i'll give you some advice. Good luck.

If you can score 160+ in LSAT you might be ok. The GPA for an engineering major is given a bit of a bump due to the coursework. Work experience will be a plus as well Tier 1 may be difficult but you have a realistic shot at a tier 2 school
