Procedure to receive registration number?

Hi,
I passed the patent test on the 13th of June,
Filled in the paper work and sent in my $100 check
on the 19th of June, the check was cashed on the 30th of June.
How long until my name appears in the offical Gazette?

It took about 2 months after I passed the exam to get a registration number.

I think that this date can be determined from the OED posting. About a week or so after you pass, your name should appear on the "Persons of Names of Persons Seeking Registration..." list. There are two dates there -- the second date in parentheses is the date of posting of the list. The first date, in bold and linking to the list, is the date on which you should become registered, assuming you pass the character & fitness reqs, I believe. About two weeks before that date, your name should appear in the OG.

Again, look at the date that appears on the link to the list containing your name on the OED site. It's probably August 4th -- the same date that appears in the OG as the deadline for receiving comments. You should have your number shortly thereafter.
(For example, people on the 15JUL2006 list now show up with a reg number when searched for on the registry)
