I'm new to this forum and would like to get in on some of the discussion.
My background is chemical engineering (MS), 12 years of engineering experience - changed profession 8 years ago to become a translator of patents from German to English.
I just passed the patent bar and am looking to get into prosecution.
Are there any other experiences with this kind of transition. Will the G/E bilingualism help me much?
Will the patent translation experience count as pseudo-prosecution experience? (I would imagine not...)
