moral character challenges?

Once I pass the patent bar what are the risks of the USPTO not registering me because of a moral character challenge?  I don't have any skeletons in my closet but have been having trouble with a guy I worked for last summer.  His fault not mine, but he keeps hasseling me.

Once you pass the patent bar, your name will be published in the Official Gazette for the purposes of giving the public a chance to send in comments on your character. The chances of that happening is pretty damn small, in my opinion, since one would need to know your career plans and then monitor the OG for your name to surface. Even if they got that far, just a submission of information doesn't mean you won't be registered. You will have a chance to respond.
