Hi, i am a sophomore accounting major, but i want to be a patent lawyer. What will be a good undergrad major to take up in order to become a patent lawyer? I was thinking computer engineering, however the school I attend dosen't have any engineering at all.

You can review the requirements for taking the patent agent/attorney registration exam by reading the requirements bulletin found here:

http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/dcom/olia/oed/examregist.htm

However note that this exam is only required for those who intend to represent clients before the patent office.  Attorneys who practice other aspects of patent and intellectual property law including litigating patent infringement or licensing patent rights do not need to take the registration exam and do not necessarily need a technical background.
