What is IP engineer?

Does anyone know what is IP engineer and what is its job responsibility? What are the critical requirements for this kind of position?

Do you mean "Patent Engineer" ?
As far as I know a PE assembles relevant technical information necessary to enable a patent practitioner write a patent application. PE works closely with the inventors as well as patent practitioners.

the use of such a nebulous title indicates that the company simply wants someone with both engineering credentials and IP ability
it can mean the person must be able to navigate patent databases as well as be able to converse with their technical staff regarding a particular technical field in which they are involved
