Looking to purchase PLI course on ebay - ?

I was just wondering about various edition dates.
I plan to take the exam next summer...
I need help deciding which edition date(s) meet my needs. I don't want to shortchange myself here, because it sounds like I'll be spending 200 hours of study time on this. Suppose that I saved $200 by getting an older edition, but decreased my chances of passing the exam by 25%. My time and my future success is worth a bunch more than that.
So....how would I go about determining which edition dates will meet my needs?

make sure to buy MPEP edition 8.2. That is the new edition of the MPEP that they are testing on. Every time you have to retake the test, because of your "decreased chances" you have to shell out another $400, plus sit through another day of testing (agony). That, or shell out another $200 for a current edition, which you will be able to turn around and sell. With an older edition, it will be harder for you to resell. You do the math.
