Wow, I am an authority on IP now ? Since when? Anyways, I wasn't trying to be critical of IPW's score, but at the same time, I wish someone talked to me when I was applying to law school and told me not to apply to UPenn and a few others with my measely scores... I could have bought myself an ipod with all that left-over application money.

TS, I know what you mean about the extra application costs for reach schools! I am finding it terrible trying to apply to all these schools with my crappy stipend money. But you gotta take some chances... With a PhD in hand, I think that there might be increased likelihood that you are accepted even with low scores? (Not much, but something...) If you ask me, UPenn lost out on you. You have the best possible combination of characteristics in a work colleague in that you're obviously very good in the field and are unselfish enough to take time to mentor IP newbs like me on this and other websites. Anyway, I don't mean to get all fruity by professing my TechSpec love here (lol), but your help is definitely appreciated!!!
