Worth going to D.C. to inspect my exam results?

I took the exam on June 18th for the first time and found out yesterday that I didn't pass. I'm not surprised, since I decided to attempt the exam in the middle of my BarBri studies, but I now need a new plan of action. Is it worth a $250 plane ticket and the cost of a hotel room for me to go to the PTO to inspect my exam? Will the correct answers be available, or just the questions? Is there a limit on the amount of time you can spend inspecting the questions? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out in making this decision. I will probably reattempt the exam near the end of August.

Thanks to computer based system, you don't have to wait half a year to retake the exam. If I am in your situation, I would rather concentrate on retaking the exam. Going to DC to inspect the answers only make sense if you are planning to appeal. It is very very difficult to win on appeal because the questions are well tested. What was your score?

The other thing that makes it difficult to win on appeal is that there is no longer an appeal process.

Thanks for the replies. I got a 64. Is there anyone who has actually done this and/or knows the answers to my other questions regarding time limit and whether the correct answers are available?

Wait a minute, you took the exam after the switch from rev 1 to rev 2? didn't they say 'get 63 and you pass'. 10 questions out of 100 were supposed to be test questions not to be counted. Meaning 70% of 90 was expected to be the passing score. You may want to check with them. on Jun 26th, 2005, 1:32pm, Chuy wrote:Thanks for the replies. I got a 64.
