Revision 2 Test -- Are they hitting the changes?

I know they just started testing with Revision 2 questions on June 9th 2005, so this may be a bit premature to ask -- but has anyone who has taken the test noticed if they are deliberately asking a lot of questions that hit on key changes from Version 1 to Version 2 of MPEP 8? Do any such questions stand out in your mind?

According to the PTO, there will be exactly ten questions regarding the new changes, but those will not be scored because they are experimental. The remaining 90 questions will be questions previously used on written or electronic versions of the exams. The applicant will need 63 of those 90 correct to pass. The score on the 10 unlabeled experimental questions will be irrelevant. Bottom line: there is no reason to know the changes, but it might be helpful to be able to spot questions specifically regarding new MPEP revisions so that you don't spend too much time answering questions that don't count toward your passing the test. There is much more information about this on the Prometric thread.

To clarify--they didn't say that the questions would be regarding the changes from rev1 to rev2. I believe what it said was that there would be 10 questions that had not been tested before. Whether these cover changes between rev1 and rev2, who knows? Some of them might, some of them might not. Some of them might cover "old" material, but just be new questions that have not undergone the psychometric testing yet. Until we hear from someone who has take the exam, and in fact, until we hear from at least a few people who have taken the exam, we just won't know.
