Has anyone on this board used Legal Authority in the past with good results. I am a new law grad awaiting my Feb bar results and am weighing the benefits of using Legal Authority in my job search. They charge a rather steep fee and I would like more information before taking the plunge. Thanks in advance for your help!

I'll second that query. Anyone with experience with this company? Thanks.

The usefulness of Legal Authority and others are discussed frequently on the JDJive discussion board www.jdjive.com. If you don't get an answer here, maybe you will there.

After looking through the experiences of folks at www.jdjive.com (search on 'Legal Authority' to find the comments), I'd have to say Legal Authority's marketing may exaggerate their real-world ability to help lawyers find jobs. But, it could also be that only the unsuccessful users of their service are the ones doing the posting. I haven't reached a conclusion yet...There are also competing services such as www.lawfirmconnect.com, that look to offer very similar services...

I think you are right not to take the postings on www.jdjive as definitive, but at least you can read some opinions there.
