Logo royalties ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

I have a logo that I created that someone wants to use, displaying it rather largely in front of their business. What type of royalties can I receive in this situation since this individual will not be using the logo on anything to resell?

Any royalties you negotiate for and agree to. It is as simple as that.

Hey thanks so much for your help I really appreciate it. I am very much a newb to this, I am really just a designer and an idealist. I understand that the royalties is basically whatever we mutually decide they are, but I dont even have a ballpark range to start with.

First, make sure you have protected your logo. Second, try to determine what you think the use of your logo is worth to that person/company. What is it worth to you? are you likely to license it to someone else? or is this the only person? You can always work out the agreement as lasting for only a specific period of time and then renegotiate.

Thanks again. I actually have the logo trademarked as well as licensed to be printed on T-shirts. Its being sold in sports stores all over my state right now and doing rather well. This particular guy seen it on one of my shirts and like it and now wants to put the logo on some big piece of machinery at his company.
