Is it possible for large corporation to "KILL" or "Prevent" a patent from a lone inventor from being issued by USPTO? i.e. persuade USPTO (with facts or evidence) not to approve & issue the patent...
I'm not sure if he was right...

If you know the application no., you can file a protest and provide your reasoning as to why a patent should not be issued. Your participation in that process ends with submission of your protest, though, other than acknowledgment of receipt of the protest via a return postcard.

The protest process is independent of the status of the inventor - solo or backed by a corporation. Restated, it's the same process for any type of inventor.
