If my idea is made into a product, - The estimate sales is over 1 million units - Each units will probably be sold for a price of over $100 USD. - Estimate sales figure is over $100 million USD. Can anyone advice my how to sell my idea? Is there a previous example of a person who successfully sell his/her idea and earn a handsome sum of money?

Well, I suppose it's not bad to be skeptical, but it's also not useful to be completely paranoid. Most people aren't going to make any money out of even a great idea without some professional help. Sure, you want to check credentials as much as possible, but eventually you have to choose between some level of trust or just sitting on the sidelines. Of course, if the person is in Nigeria and wants you to wire money or share a bank account, run away as fast as you can. As to what level of due diligence and safe certainty is required before you deal with someone, that's entirely a personal decision for each of us to determine on our own. However, simply posting an offer to help -- even if compensation is expected -- is hardly a scam. It's what happens after that that's important. As Aristotle once said, "Virtue is a mean between extremes." So, we each must find our own mean between gullible and paranoid. Regards.
