I found a new use for a product is there any way I can get credit for this? Is there somewhere I can go to talk to someone about this?

New use of known substance cannot be patented.

I dont know what you mean by "get credit."

If your new use (i.e. process) is new and not obvious, you may be able to patent the process. I suggest that you take a look at the patent office (United States Patent and Trademark Office or USPTO) web site.  They provide useful information for inventors.

If you are interested in obtaining patent protection for your invention, you should contact a patent agent or patent attorney.
