Goverment takeover of our patents

I am in the process of patenting my energy producing design,  and am afraid of attorney miss handling and the worse of fears,,,,Goverent take over of my patent. I feel comfident that the goverment will want this for their use, or it will produce a threat of lower gas prices in the future. My third fear is that they will keep this machine off the market.  There is a section in the consolidated patent law manual that talkes of this action.  35U.S.C.267 can you ease you mind? I have spent 5 years of my life with this invention. If New Orleans had my machine,,,they would had still had their pumps working.

If there is a threat of the government taking your invention, it does not seem likely that it comes from a power described in 35 USC 267.  That paragraph simply allows the government extra time to prosecute patents it owns under certain circumstances.
