International question of patents

Hello
Has South America any universal patent treatment between its respective countries to work together, apart from the US’s? I mean one patent made in Peru is respected in Bolivia and Venezuela, etc… or each Latin American country differ between them?
The same question for Central America.
…and Asia, is different?
So, if I make one patent in México and it was a design patent, can I apply the same stuff in Brazil with a Utility application?
This question is mostly for international patent attorneys, no?

I don't think there's a regional patent in South or Central America or Asia. I'm only aware of the EPO, the Eurasian regional patent (not what most people think -- mostly former Soviet Union countries), and two African regional patent organizations.
Sorry, I don't know about claiming priority of a Mexican design patent application in a Brazilian utility patent application. Those sorts of questions will most likely require country-by-country answers.

Where to go? I think that people does not know this important patent forum; It should be a foreign forum, but I tried in the londoninventorgroup but they neither know. I will follow my search, don't worry.
