How about a section dedicated to assisting those with questions regarding the software used to manage the patent families/applications?

I like the idea.  An IP Practice Management section.  Although, I don't know how much traffic it will get.
 
If you post a particular question in "Patents, Other" or in "Miscellaneous", I'll respond and try to make it useful.  I was solo for many years and leveraged heavily from technology for my infrastructure and continue to be heavily involved in administration of my practice.

In my opinion, these forums are too finely cut as is.  We have an obviousness section, a utility section and a novelty section with almost no posts, as well as a general "is it patentable" section.  We also have competing careers and "becoming a patent agent" sections.  Yet we have one TM section, not separate sections for "distinctiveness", "dilution", "confusion", "ITU", etc.
 
Rather than adding sections, I think it may make sense to consolidate some sections.
