Any interest in a Licensing Forum?

I'm hoping to engage in a self-study of licensing and would love a place to lurk.  My guess is that others here might also be interested in that topic as well.

What does everyone else think?

A licensing forum has been added.  Thanks for the suggestion.

dear mr. ivey,

may i suggest parr and sullivan's "technology licensing" as one of the texts you should include in your self-study. i think wiley is the publisher.

it is one of the best books i have come across and the more you read it the more secrets it gives up.

robert goldscheider's 5 volume set "licensing in foreign and domestic operations" is also a goldmine when it comes to form and things to consider in specific types of license agreements. both are must haves. goldscheider is a powerhouse.

i will look forward to your posts.

regards,

Thanks!  I have a book on the way -- I think from BNA, but not sure.

At LinuxWorld, a licensing attorney filled me in on some of the thorny issues of open source tainting of proprietary software -- typically discovered during due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.  Sounds fascinating to me, so I'm going to position myself to get involved in that type of work.  For now, I hope to lurk in the forum and learn what I can.

Thanks again.
