Is it illeagle to use a teams sports logo for a picture. I was thinking of like printing a NFL teams logo on a 4x6  photo paper and selling it, on a small scale. Or maybe making a colloge of different logos on a picture. Or a mouse pad. Is any of this infringing on copyright laws. One more, what about pictures I find online. Can I print and sell those. Thanks

Personally, I would think that it is wrong to use some person's (or company's) logo for monetary gain without first getting their permission.

On the other hand, if you can trick them into giving you an agreement by getting them to post their logo on a website, you may be free to use their logo with an irrevocable license.

Perhaps, the legal experts on this forum can explain how this irrevocable license works.
