My band (non-professional record company) recorded our first Full Length album and are in the process of exploring our options on releasing it. Currently we have a couple of movie quotes proceeding some of the songs--most are from B-Movie horror films--but one or two of them are from recent horror movies. Is it against copyright law to sample a small snippet of dialog (about 3 seconds total)?
