Ninety seven of our 100 licenses for Visio are in use. Would we need to purchase 14 more copies to load Visio on the 17 computers in our computer lab for a one day training class?

What does the license for Visio say.  I suspect that this eventuality is explicitly covered.
 
Maybe you can negotiate some temporary accomodation if you are not going to routinely need the extra licenses.
