Dear Jade,
What you do is not complex. It would be well to understand the law. For that is would be well to check with an INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAWYER that you can trust. Most general lawyers are not familiar with the subtleties of intellectual property law.

Once you understand self registration may be economical.

One way to remember the spelling of copyright is to remember that copyright law gives you the right to prevent copying.

I hope this is not taken as a spelling flame, but you will probably want to spell the word correctly.

Mr. Auslander is pointing out that while you can register your own copyrights a brief consultation with a lawyer might still be beneficial because there are some things of which a lay person may not be aware.

Dear Mr. Clark,

While I didn't want to spend the time to clarify my entry, I want to spend the time thank you for your clarification.
