Online course covers intellectual property from the perspective of the innovator. Patent, trademark and copyright law are introduced as well as the methods of obtaining protection. Workplace issues, non-disclosure agreements and licensing agreements are also introduced. This is a fully online course that provides the flexibility required by working professionals as well as the structure expected by traditional students. Learning takes place through readings and a series of homework assignments.
