inventor retreats

Are there any inventor retreats similar to poet retreats?
 
This would support a promising inventor the time and means to bring to market promising/useful and profitable inventions.
 
Ovbiously once an inventor succeeds with his/her profitable product he/she would be expected to help finance other members' projects in accordance to member's vote.
 
If there aren't any I would like to start one in southern California (close to the coast of course).
 
Need all sorts of help and funding.

Sounds like a great idea.  If I start one in Northern California, we can have joint annual retreats.
