Also, were the auditions situated in such a way that you can walk up to the judges and show them drawings, etc.? Was it private, meaning others auditioning cannot see you when you audition?

HEY MARK!!! Very interesting about the LA auditions. Makes me feel a little better about the audition process. Any other info you would be willing to share with us? I'd love to know the answers to Dan O's questions. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS SUCH AS THIS TO GET INFO ABOUT THE PROCESS ?

I flipped a coin today and ended up booking a flight to Atlanta. Anyone else going? Email me if you are and maybe we can touch base at the auditions.
Personally, I've no desire to be on TV. But the publicity would be priceless.

I went. Spent 8 hours in line with around 300-400 others for a 3 minute audition. The producers were nice, but the three inventions I submitted probably won't be sensational enough for prime-time tv. I would have considered it a wasted trip except for making a few good contacts in the day-long line.
