I went through some 6 weeks of training to get the opportunity to interview with a major aerospace company. After the training, I was contacted for an interview and filled out my personal data online. After the interview, I was told by the person who interviewed me that he would look forward to working with me. I was then contacted by phone and told what my starting wage would be, and what shift I would be working. The HR person said that we just had to wait until an outside company verified the info that I had submitted. After weeks of waiting, I called back to see if the verification was back. I was told that I would not be offered a job because of discrepancies on my criminal investigation. When I received the report, it listed exactly what I had put on my original application.
